Under a beautiful clear, dark sky a hundred+ people gathered to safely watch the sunset through specially designed solar filters fit over telescopes. Many families, including young kids and grandparents were then treated to viewing Saturn and the Stars; followed by the awe inspiring Perseid meteor shower!

Special thanks to all of the community volunteers for making this magically enjoyable evening event possible.
