Saturday, June 6th from 6pm to 7:30 pm, WC Bowes Park in Morgan's Grant, Kanata. Address is 1251 Halton Terrace. Zumba will be located in the large soccer field closer to the parking off Klondike Road at WC Bowes Park.

BMGCA's Cleaning the Capital – Saturday, April 25th, 2026

Our annual Cleaning the Capital event is almost here, and we need your helping hands to spruce up our neighbourhood!
This year, we’ll be focusing on streets and sidewalks, so come help keep our community clean and welcoming.
Here’s what you need to know:
🗑 Supplies (garbage bags and gloves) will be provided at the following meeting spots from 9:00am to 11:00am (while supplies last):
– WC Bowes Park (Klondike entrance)
– Morgan's Grant Woods (50 FlamboroughWay)
– Brookshire Park (1035 Klondike Rd)
Volunteers will be assigned street and sidewalk sections to clean. After 11am, any leftover supplies will be collected for use next year.
Student Volunteers Welcome!
Need community service hours? Come out and help! BMGCA board members will be onsite to sign volunteer forms.

Get Involved in Your Neighbourhood!

The Briarbrook, Brookside, and Morgan’s Grant Community Association invites you to join us for our Annual General Meeting — a chance to connect with neighbours, share ideas, and get to know your local community association.

When: Thursday, November 6, 2025 | 🕖 7:00 PM
Where: Richcraft Recreation Complex – Minto Community Room

Come meet the BMGCA team, learn about upcoming projects, and discover how you can get involved.

We’re currently seeking volunteers for two open board positions: Membership Director and Volunteer Coordinator. The Membership Director helps welcome new residents, maintain the membership list, and support engagement efforts, while the Volunteer Coordinator organizes and supports volunteers for events and community initiatives.

If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to make a difference close to home, we’d love to have you join us!

BMGCA FURNITURE DONATION EVENT With MATTHEW HOUSE Ottawa.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 8TH, 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

 

Location: Matthew House Ottawa located at: 340 Legget Dr. Door 53.

 

The BMGCA in partnership with Matthew House Ottawa in the Kanata North Tech Park is organizing a Furniture Donation Event! Matthew House helps newcomers and low-income families in Ottawa turn their house into a home. Your donation of furniture and household items will change lives!

 

Items in need:

- Bed Frames

- Sofas/Loveseats

- Household items (e.g., dishes, cups, cutlery, etc.)

The ideal candidate can maintain lists, recruit volunteers and approve volunteer hours for high school students.

BMGCA's Community Garage Sale - Saturday June 1st, 2024.

 

Join the Kanata wide Garage Sale! Set up at home or join a community hub to sell your items.

In collaboration with École Grande Ourse, the BMGCA invites you to join the community hub at the school (1385 Halton Terrace). There is a $5 fee to have a spot with table in the hub, please email events@bmgcakanata.ca before May 26th to hold your spot and to reserve a table.

Money raised will be donated to the Kanata Food Cupboard! Nonperishable food will be accepted on site!
